Pros

Friendly team Pay is above industry average $100 budget per employee for semi-annual work outings (Christmas party and team building)

Cons

Inconsistent work roster Your enjoyment will rely on your management a lot High pressure environment Do not go on a Trainee Store Manager Program. It takes 3 years to complete and they will promise you an Assistant Store Manager position after 3 years but will never eventuate. Be a deputy manager instead, you'll earn about 10% more with much less responsibility. Not much room for growth No staff discount

Pros

Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

Cons

EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

Pros

+ industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

Cons

+ work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
