      Pros

      Good salary Good amount of working hours 32-40 + overtime

      Cons

      Cutting all benefits. Previous employees have bonus depended on productivity and they earn around 15% higher salary than new employees. Cut Christmas vouchers and they did not say anything to staff till February when they suppose to give vouchers. High management behaves like a military general. They promise promotion but never promote those people. They teach you about the team working but there is no time to work as a team.

      Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

      Cons

      EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

      + industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

      Cons

      + work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
