Pros

Great pay for Honest work. You get amazing benefits and an amazing pay rate for working your butt off for 30-30 hours a week. It's definitely worth it if you put in the time and deal with impatient people.

Cons

Sometimes management expects a lot even though certain things overlap in weird ways. For example, I need to keep the line down and keep my "items per hour" numbers high, but I also need to provide excellent customer service that may result in not giving these customers enough time and patience from my end. If I have to average in 30 seconds per customer, they're just going to think I'm rushing them. They keep the stores low-staffed to save on labor and increase productivity, but it is just impossible for two-three people to close a store when we've made over 20000. I'd get out at 11, 12 at night, it's ridiculous

Pros

+ industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

Cons

+ work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
