      Good pay -Friendly, cohesive team -Supportive, competent leads -Variety of 3-week rotating/repeating schedules -Shifts often run long, but no mandatory extra shifts -1.5x OT pay for work over 8 hrs/shift as well as beyond 40 hrs/week -Internal hiring/promotions -Reputable company, well-liked brand

      -Just 1 week pto / yr until your third year -Must use (limited) pto an entire day at a time -No holiday pay within 90 days of hire, but big hiring event right before the holidays -No employee discount

      Pros

      Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

      Cons

      EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

      + industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

      Cons

      + work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
