Pros

You meet some friends for life and a few good customers that are pretty awesome too. Benefits are ok

Cons

You can work here very hard and still just barely make ends meet. if you hit quota you may make 3k to 4k a month gross 5k if you throw in a few big deals. Avg sales on commission is around 200 to 300 per sale. So you can bust your tale and Maybe make 50k to make 100k per year you will need to work 60 plus hours a week and drive your car until it die.....when that happens they just replace you ASAP. Career advancement is a joke you if your will to move and take a pay cut. The rep position depending on where your located in the nation is not for a person with a family it requires a lot of time away. Because your always trying to hit the next tier to make more money...... This job is for the young and single. It's too unstable to try to rise a family off of. Also I was well over quota not a small fish I sold a lot of systems per month at one point avg 30 plus so I seen both sides of the plate. Our commission went from great to just plan ole awful.. Work here and you burn out before 1 year however if you make it if you make it to your 3rd year you may have a shot. Good luck cause you will need it. Hopefully you get a a manger that's been with the company long enough to help you. I get a new Manager every 6 to 10 months and that was over a 4 year spand. Oh and if you worked there in your office and have the numbers they want hire you because they don't believe so we been told to hire from the staff there because your peers want respect you. However it makes more sense to hire a person who's never sold a system in his life it appears to teach his veteran team how to sale alarm systems. That equals failure.... So if you think you can move into a mgr spot in your home town think again homie. Your a$$ is moving somewhere far far away more than likely for less money then you was making as a rep. Yup pay cut. Enter at your own risk. It's no wonder they made the top 10 worst places to work

Pros

I've worked for the company for 40+ years, I'm treated with respect and my efforts are recognized by my Director and other ADT leaders. They give me the autonomy to manage my department and value my experience and insight. They offer a solid benefits package. ADT leads by example with their cultural markers and ensures that rules and laws are followed. I love the collaboration I have with our other departments.

Cons

Obviously, we all want more money, especially given the prices of everything, it's always nice to make more money, but I've checked the compensation and benefits in similar positions outside of ADT and I feel ADT is paying a fair wage and when I factor in the benefits package, they are above average in overall compensation.

Pros

Pros I truly enjoy working at ADT. I have the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, which allows for a great work-life balance. The company offers generous PTO, and more importantly, actively encourages employees to take the time they need to recharge. There’s also a strong sense of job security. ADT is consistently growing, and the steady flow of new hire classes reflects that stability. In my role, I get the opportunity not only to help people start their careers, but also to coach and support agents as they grow professionally and personally. Seeing that development firsthand is incredibly rewarding. On top of that, I work with an amazing team. The people here are supportive, collaborative, and genuinely care about each other’s success, which makes a huge difference in the day-to-day experience.

Cons

While compensation is generally competitive, I would love to see more opportunities for performance-based bonuses to help employees further grow their savings and feel rewarded for their contributions. Additionally, there is some opportunity for improvement in how the building facilities are managed to enhance the overall workplace environment.
