Pros

Wish i could name one

Cons

My previous review was deleted, but I noticed that several glowing reviews were all posted on the same day. It makes you wonder why. My experience at Alison Brod was incredibly disappointing. It was one of the most toxic work environments I’ve ever experienced. I dreaded going to work every day, and the constant stress and negativity took a serious toll on my mental health. I left feeling burned out and miserable. If you’re looking for a supportive workplace where employees are respected and can grow professionally, this was not my experience. Everyone’s experience may differ, but I would never choose to work here again.

Pros

My time at ABMC was truly one of a kind. What set it apart from anywhere else I've worked was the community - people here didn't just care about doing their jobs well, they genuinely cared about the people around them. That's rare, and it made a real difference. Professionally, I grew so much in my role. I became more organized, learned how to get ahead of tasks and anticipate needs before they became problems, and developed a level of professionalism I carry with me to this day. I also had the opportunity to work with some incredible, high-profile brands, which made the work exciting and rewarding. Overall, I'd highly recommend ABMC to anyone looking for a place where the culture is real, the work is meaningful, and the people make it worth showing up every day.

Cons

That said, the role does come with some late nights depending on the workload, so just be prepared for that going in.

Pros

• Free product • Reputable clientele • Smart crew

Cons

• Senior leadership shows little investment in employee growth, often under-promising and stalling development. Employees must repeatedly follow up to receive performance reviews, and managers show minimal effort in providing guidance or development-focused feedback - when feedback is given, it is often only negative. This lack of support clearly trickles down, resulting in confusion, burnout, and low morale across junior teams. • Expectations, rules, and treatment vary widely across teams and individuals, fostering inequity, frustration, and a lack of trust throughout the organization. • Workloads are consistently excessive, with long hours treated as the norm. High performers are given increasing responsibility without additional pay, recognition, or support, reinforcing a culture where overwork goes unacknowledged. • Benefits, compensation structure, and internal policies fluctuate frequently and are not communicated transparently. HR support is extremely limited and inconsistent, making it difficult for employees to access reliable information or timely assistance. • Turnover is extremely high, and layoffs/firing occur without adequate backfill planning. Remaining employees are expected to absorb additional work for weeks on end with minimal guidance and the expectation to “figure it out.” • The overall culture is cliquey, gossipy, and unprofessional, resembling a sorority-like environment that is exacerbated by weak leadership and lack of accountability.
