Pros

The employees I have worked with have been some wonderful people. That would be the sales associates , not mgmt..

Cons

Growing this company to compete with the other gas/conv. chain in the U.S in particular has provided no real advantage except saying we have more stores than you. This company needs a shakeup from the top down. We put on our best face whenever Joe comes into town all for him never to show up..........what a joke! Current personnel are working under contracts requiring 48 hr. work weeks. Is that truly the hours, no, not when they continually decrease the payroll hrs. at their corporate stores. And store associates work with no breaks, in stores where the heat and air conditioning are controlled by ppl. in Dallas. I"m on the other side of the country how is that feasible. Oh...I see it.s all about controlling things. This company is supposed to be driven by franchising, they have no buyers and are still converting and building more locations. Hey corporate fat cats....stop smell the coffee....your franchising model and lack of any truly exceptional concepts is souring ppls. opinion of 7-11 .The other guys, well with aggressive advertising, far greater convenient meal choices , and mega builds are kicking your butts! The 1 thing you may have that you don't seem to appreciate is your people , they are so much more customer svc. oriented than the other guy. What a shame You don't realize that.

Pros

good work value and environment friendly

Cons

The manager would call my phone at 3 am to tell me to unload a truck full of drinks alone, constantly, even though it was never mentioned or docked as pay.

Pros

Steady hours, free drinks, meet an assortment of people, repetitive customers that you get to know and like

Cons

Low pay, bad benefits, and mostly working by yourself unless you're first shift, and then only on weekdays.
