Pros

You won't find pros here.

Cons

Employees of 4 Star Electronics are always exhausted due to the never-ending barrage of tasks and workloads thrown by the leadership. We're unsurprisingly overworked, yet we also receive a salary that is mediocre at best. The benefits are lackluster, and our supervisors couldn't be bothered to provide proper support.

Pros

One of the best small businesses to work for in Orange County. Definitely a good place to work if you aren't experienced in the workforce. It was my first full time job and the benefits and perks were very generous along with friendly ownership. Would recommend to any one seeking work experience and to move into related industry/field or a full time job with benefits. Great stepping stone for a novice professional. Great Holiday parties, Friendly Staff. Looks great on you resume if you are looking in to an Aerospace/Tech/Manufacturing kind of Job in Southern California. They will send you to great trade shows and training seminars too.

Cons

It's a great place to gain knowledge and experience but with that being said not place to be forever because there is a lack of room to grow with in the company. The company is a great place to be. Just some people aren't fortunate enough to report to people that actually support them. It is a small company so it's really hard to inspire and innovate in a microcosmic atmosphere. In the six years I worked there I had great experience with all my colleagues except with one individual. That individual ended up being my supervisor toward the end. Overall the experience wasn't that bad, but at times if felt like this individual was a very ineffective leader and poor communicator.

Pros

Didn't find any pros while working with them.

Cons

This place had too many managers and not enough people actually helping. There's always someone checking on employees, but very little real support. The company was all about control, and they don't trust is to do our jobs. Thus, simple tasks became frustrating. Hard work also went unnoticed while other people seemed to have it much easier. More employees stopped caring because nothing seemed fair. Upper management stayed out of touch and they are clueless on what was happening on the ground. It's hard to stay motivated because the way they treat their employees are just ridiculous. People would put in a lot of effort, but it rarely seemed to matter. Instead of rewarding great work, management seemed more interested in keeping everything under tight control. It's frustrating and pushed good employees away. You can't trust the management. They are unreliable and inconsistent with their words. One week you would hear one thing, and the next week something completely different would happen. As a result, employees spent more time trying to figure out what was going on than focusing on their jobs. Over time, that constant confusion wore people down and made the workplace even harder to enjoy. It’s a horrible horrible work environment.
