Pros
The staff reset days were a good way for staff to get to know each other.
Cons
My experience with this organsation was disappointing. While the workplace initially appeared friendly and supportive, my experience over time was quite different. I found the onboarding and training provided to be inadequate, with expectations placed on staff to perform tasks and responsibilities without proper guidance or support. During my time there, I felt that management was often unsupportive and there appeared to be inconsistency in how staff were treated. I observed what I perceived to be favouritism, which negatively impacted the team and workplace culture. Staff turnover was also noticeably high, which raised concerns about employee satisfaction and retention. Another concern I observed was the way previous employees were sometimes spoken about after they had left the organisation. While I understand that workplace disagreements and frustrations can occur, I believe it is important to maintain professionalism and respect when discussing both current and former staff members. In my view, a positive workplace culture is one where people are treated with dignity, regardless of differing perspectives or circumstances surrounding their departure. One aspect that concerned me was the heavy reliance on AI-generated content for professional communication and documentation. While AI can be a useful tool, I felt that its use sometimes came at the expense of authenticity, professional development, and meaningful support for staff. I also found that feedback and concerns were not always received constructively. In my view, organisations benefit most when they are willing to listen to feedback, acknowledge areas for improvement, and take accountability where needed. There are dedicated staff who genuinely care about the people they support, however my overall experience of the workplace culture, leadership, and support provided was not positive.
