Pros
Software teams are a positive environment for both junior and senior developers. Self starters and those with a passion to grow and learn from/teach those around them will do well here. The teams are passionate about their work. Being able to take ownership of a feature and drive it above and beyond is rewarding as a developer. I have honestly never worked for a company that felt like a group of peers that respect and uplift each other as much as at 1Password.
Cons
As the company is in a rapid growth stage the management is having to play catchup. Balancing pushing their projects forward and developing new ways to manage a larger team can have adverse effects. At the moment it is better if you are able to self direct and take a task from start to finish with minimal management input. This the a time to distinguish yourself to management. If this doesn't sound like something you would be able to do then 1Password probably isn't for you. This is, of course, temporary. The managers are great and it may take some trial and error, but we will figure it out.
