Pros

We swear you do not want to work there. You will need anti depressive. I worked there in management

Cons

We had to convince people that used the washroom "too much" for the owners liking that we were docking their pay. If they complained to the Labour Board we were to convince the employee to close the file (or else). When people of different ethnicity would come for interviews we were told "not to hire too many". No one is praised and everyone leaves with an awful taste in their mouthes.

Pros

It's a relatively fast growning data collection company in Ottawa, and it was able to provide me with good solid number of hours, even in the daytime, doing b-2-b surveys - at least during September/October.

Cons

They give very little coaching or feed-back - unless one requests it oneself. Although they recently increased the hourly pay to $20/hr, it's still a little low. Ought to be min. $12/hr. Also, they call the US a lot, not just Canada.

Don't Waste Your Time

Pros

You pick your own schedule. And SOME of the co-workers

Cons

Honestly, to anyone who is thinking of applying or getting recruited. BE ALARMED. Possibly one of the worst places to work. First of all, you 'apply' they have you come in for a 'interview' which takes maybe about 15 mins of them asking you questions which have nothing to do with anything. Then they tell you to come in for an 'orientation' which is pointless and useless, and have HR that can't even answer your questions. They don't even tell you that you're HIRED,they just make you give your availability and start working stupid hours. You never even meet the owner of the company or upper management. Secondly, there isnt any professional training, they literally throw you in a booth with a script to read and thats it and have you start dialling. SOME of the supervisors were very nice, and others were NOT very helpful, and just wanted you to meet the ridiculous rate basically telling you that you are doing a bad job. Not to mention they are all on a power trip. THE SURVEYS don't even make sense, and are the hardest thing to read. THE BREAKS suck, you either have to wait on a list to take a break or you can't go. THE SOFTWARE AND EQUIPMENT don't always work. Just an overall disastrous place to work, not well managed, the scheduler does there best to accommodate your availability but shifts get cancelled. THE WORST THING is the rejection of the people you call, it will give you anxiety and numb your brain because you have constant people yelling at you.
