• Handling inquiries about textbook options, rentals, and purchases • Learn the tricks of the trade through real interactions with customers • Quite straightforward once you learn the systems and common questions • Building customer service and sales skills in a low-pressure environment • Decent pay and a predictable schedule

Pros

Job with lots of variety: I’m involved in staffing, merchandising, operations, customer service, campus partnerships, inventory management, promotions, and event coordination. Positive team energy and strong leadership. Exposure to many sides of retail management almost from the start. Above-average compensation. Solid benefits package, especially the PTO, healthcare coverage, and retirement options.

Cons

The workload may feel heavier during promotional events and seasonal transitions.
