Honestly don’t understand why a top (?) institution has many professors without even a PhD degree, no mention meticulous evaluation on their publication, capacity and so on. Manama is messy, often time you feel like you need be friends with certain ppl to keep you job.

Extremely restrictive and outdated approach to work-from-home arrangements, even for roles that can be performed effectively remotely. A one-size-fits-all policy is applied across different job scopes. Roles that require a physical presence should not dictate workplace flexibility for roles that do not. Too much emphasis on physical presence in the office rather than productivity, performance, and deliverables. Management appears reluctant to embrace modern workplace practices despite growing evidence supporting flexible work arrangements. Employees seeking a progressive and adaptable work environment may find the culture frustratingly traditional and resistant to change.
