Massive impact, great autonomy

Pros

The company is structured around empowering people and giving them autonomy to fully own their work end-to-end. With it comes a rejection of traditional hierarchical models. There's a massive push to work on high impact things based on the objectives and your personal skillset. Your work here will really matter.

Cons

It's easy to get very invested in the work, so you need to watch your work-life balance (but note that the company will not expect, nor push you to work more than standard hours on a flexible schedule)

Pros

It is by far the most outcomes drive company I have ever been at. The way DDG works is incredibly unique and truly allows you to make a huge impact on its mission. The culture is very supportive with smart people. If you love projects, making impact and doing work vs just endless talking about doing work, this is the place for you. I have tons of flexibility of how I want to work and very trusted. It’s a dream come true especially for people with dependents. You are trusted to structure your own time. Our meetups are also the best and I always enjoy seeing everyone and I can’t say anything good things about DDG.

Cons

If you’re really junior in your role, it can be hard to navigate. DDG ways of work is so unique. Not everyone will enjoy it.

Remote work done right

Pros

Fantastic culture that treats employees like adults. Gobs of mutual team trust that makes it fun and exciting to work here. Kindness permeates. The work load is stimulating and challenging. The products and services we are building are super useful in an age of corporate malpractice regarding individual privacy.

Cons

This is a company for professionals who have a lot of remote experience and value remote work. If you don't have a lot of remote experience or are on the fence about it, this is not the job for you.
