Fun perks but terrible management

Pros

Pinball tables, free bread, beverages, and coffee. 35 hour week.

Cons

Management refuses to train their employees. You may be hired with the knowledge that you require training, but management will not allow you to be trained. Instead, you are thrown into the fire and given up on within a short period of time. Professionalism is not really seen as important. Far too much laughing and joking around to be taken as a serious company.

Pros

- Great team with an awesome work environment which also offers multiple benefits to it's employees. - There is a constant workflow, however it's never overbearing making the work experience enjoyable. - You feel like you actually do a difference for the company. - Not in Montreal.

Cons

There are too many pros to type down ?

Fun but at a cost

Pros

Employee activities Free food and coffee On demand seminars and training Nice working environment New and high quality equipment Good benefits (employer matching, insurance, mental help services, etc...) Fun working environment and great colleagues Nice mentality on employee general happiness in the workplace

Cons

Very low salary in comparison to average low-end median with no possibilities of readjustments and low yearly raises that are hard-capped. Exhausting office politics, taboos, and strict unwritten must-follow rules such as: - no salary conversations or mentions. - pretty often unpaid overtime to meet dead-ends. - what you can talk about, what you can't talk about and how to address higher-ups (ideas, "anonymous" opinions, projects, discontents, etc...). Obligatory "optional" activities. Favoritism is pretty prevalent in management and is present everywhere. No real opportunity of advancing career unless close and friendly with the higher-ups, usually, even if not qualified, those individuals will be prioritized over qualified employees.
