Do not waste your time, if you have a heart

Pros

None I could think of, except for the clients are the best part of the job, if you have a heart to care for them. It is very rewarding.

Cons

They hire just anyone. High turn over. A lot of favoritism, mismanagement. No training or experience needed to apply. Employees do not care or do their jobs because new managers are never around and/ or have any social work experience. Most that stay are just in it for their paychecks and vacation time. The good and hardworking people leave because there is no more integrity.

Pros

4 day work week, cell phone, flexibility in schedulw

Cons

Be prepared to burn out fast. Caseloads are large.turnover is high so prepare to answer questions about why you are the new case manager your first month on the job. Dp is all about quality of life for their clients, but so not care about the fact their case managers cant afford rent.

Developmental Pathways Response

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us—it is greatly appreciated. We hear that you have felt that our leadership team has been insincere in our commitment to integrating the input of both current and past DP employees into shaping our culture and policies. While we know that we are not likely to shift your viewpoint here in this response, we want to reiterate that we highly value our employees and their contributions. We strive to create a work environment that honors their time, commitment, and expertise while providing opportunities that align with their skills. Recent months have been incredibly difficult operationally due to circumstances well outside the agency’s control. A letter from the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing about these system issues is available at https://www.community.dpcolo.org/s/HCPF-Statement-on-CCM-Impact-for-CMAs-to-Send-to-Members.pdf. There has been a lot of feedback from our teams requesting solutions that require us to advocate with other organizations and state partners as we are unable to take direct action to solve them (despite our deep desire to do otherwise). We assure you and others looking to share their talents with our incredible organization that the professional well-being and job satisfaction of our employees are top priorities for us, and we find it crucial that staff feels valued and respected and have a sense of belonging within our organization. Likewise, our management team is dedicated to providing support, ensuring team members feel heard, and embracing diverse perspectives. We recognize that your experience did not meet this expectation and will use your feedback to improve our initiatives and the employee experience. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts; we wish you well in all your future positions.
