Pros

The salary was OK. There were benefits of a medical and dental plan. These were on par with other retail management jobs.

Cons

Very poor leadership from the District Manager who was remotely based. There was a lack of a office in the store and it was inconvenient to correspond to upper management.

Pros

Clients are amazing, great discount, competitive salary, corporate reacted quickly to issues and concerns.

Cons

Worst management team in my career. Very cliquey, gossip, spiteful. Change of upper management brought about turnover which was badly needed.

Pros

The customers were pleasant and the merchandise was decent. The staff in my stores were hard working and a pleasure to work with.

Cons

The list is endless. This was one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. The stores are small, tired looking and severely understaffed. I find it hard to understand how anyone could rate this company higher than a 1. It's true when they say you quit your boss rather than the company. My Regional Director was untrustworthy, unprofessional, and cared little about the people...it was all about the results for her and there was a lot of finger pointing. There was no work life balance although they talk a lot about having it. Upper Management doesn't listen to what you have to say because they they have all the answers. If business is tough, their solution is to replace the people. There are serious flaws in their operational execution at many levels and in many areas of the business but instead of fixing these flaws they believe the answer is to turn people. Don't let them fool you with all the stories of how great and financially sound this company is during the interview process. Turnover is high and there's a reason for that. Walk right past this one. You can do so much better.
