Pros

Working remotely was virtually the only benefit of working at DataLink.

Cons

DataLink has fostered a negative and exclusive work culture. No one openly disagrees with upper leadership decision making, and those who do are clearly retaliated against. Employees can expect large requests from upper leadership with short deadlines and no guidance on a daily basis. The company is reorganized every two to three months with no effort to explain the reasoning (if any) to employees. I have personally had eight different job titles and five different managers over the course of a year and a half. Managers will regularly message employees after business hours and into the weekend for things that could have easily waited until normal working hours. It is common for employees to work upwards of sixty hours per week. I was told by HR that this is normal (it clearly isn't). It is extremely clear that many people (including upper leadership) were waiting for the company to sell. When they failed to sell towards the end of 2020, many employees, including those who have been with the company for years, decided to leave in large numbers. Now, leadership has to stick with the company for longer than they intended to and fix the issues they've enabled.

Individuals who are short-tenured in their companies never identify with the organization especially one that is as fast-paced and growing as DataLink. The Company has experienced many positives over the last two years: • We have an internal promotion rate of 14% over the last 12 months • In 2019 and 2020 over an 85% of our employees certified DataLink as “Great Places to Work” • In 2020, we onboarded 89 new employees and retained 86% • We created our Provider Engagement Team, adding 19 new roles • DataLink has grown headcount by 108% since 2019 Furthermore, DataLink's future is bright and we chose not to sell, but rather take on a growth investments from DWS and Varagon Capital Partners.

Pros

Working remotely was the only positive.

Cons

There’s a lot of favoritism... Lots of nepotism. Management and Senior Leadership do not have any strategy for any procedures. Its a punitive work environment. If you discuss the challenges by showing concrete envidence, you are targeted. They hired all these top professional in healthcare to work in a call center/production environment. Misleading to applicants.
