      Great benefits, though this varies between departments Generally great colleagues Competitive salaries for non-developers

      Cons

      Inconsistency throughout the company Poor and inexperienced management "Boys club" culture - if the wrong people dislike you on a personal level, you will be disposed of Over the most recent 2 years, at least 5 people have been dismissed without warning just short of 2 years of employment, the timeframe required for most unfair dismissal claims Blame culture - Employees and especially managers prefer to blame staff than resolve issues Moving backwards - When I joined the company, morale was high. When I left morale was at rock bottom No HR Outsourcing has begun

      Great people lead by a terrible CEO

      Pros

      Some very good, bright people working for the company, who are passionate about delivering good service. There is some great training available in house some good social events.

      Cons

      The CEO has no idea what is happening within his own company, we have multiple whole company meetings which he tried to explain what is happening, but there is often multiple follow up meetings to try explain what Robert Steiner is trying say, he has terrible communication skills and no real understanding of the products his company has to offer

Whilst we are disappointed to read your views about our CEO, we'd encourage you to reach out to him direct to share your concerns. Robert's door is always open and you will find that this is something he genuinely welcomes. You might have a different view once you speak to him, and realise how much he understands about what is happening in the business, our products and services. It's not easy to get internal communication right. We are always listening to our people and looking at ways to improve. We run one company meeting and one open Q&A session per month. We'd encourage you to contribute to those sessions, either by speaking at the meeting or submitting your questions anonymously in advance.

      Thanks for taking the time to give us feedback. I’m really pleased to see your lovely positive comments concerning our nice staff. We think our team at Data Interchange are just brilliant! It’s also great to see that you thought the equipment we provide our staff to work with was nice and that we pay well. These are things that we really take pride in, it’s important to us that our staff have all the tools they need to succeed. I’m sorry to hear some the cons you felt about your time working with us. It is fair to say that over recent months it’s been challenging for us and many other businesses that have been impacted by COVID 19. However, Data Interchange are proud to say that we have kept our staff safe and well during this time. We have not made any redundancies due to COVID 19 and the business is performing incredibly well. Since April we’ve hired over 15 people and will welcome another 10 new employees before the end of 2020. Data Interchange is a family-owned business which has been trading successfully for over three decades. We believe this is a very exciting time for our business – not just because of our new strategy and investment in product development but in particular because of the fantastic people we have in our business.
