Pros

Flexible schedule and remote work

Cons

Honestly, everything. I've been here for a little over three years and have hated every second of it. Only reason I haven't left is because I can't find work. The company gaslights you, there's never enough work for everyone. They're constantly cutting hours and there's no pay increases. Well except for management as their hours and pay aren't being cut right now. Their "commission" structure isn't achievable even though they will tell you everyone is getting commission. Not sure how they're expecting any of us to pay bills or survive right now. Benefits are crazy expensive for that they are. Stylists aren't appreciated enough even though we literally make the company run. Management says they care but it's all just an act.

Pros

- Flexible schedule - Management mostly leaves you alone (which is another way of saying I don't know what they do all day) - Good inventory most of the time

Cons

- Outdated tech - Unprofessional management - Meetings that could have been emails - Lack of transparency - Having to rely on management to share our metrics with us. - Receiving metrics communications that are inaccurate. - Doing away with the yearly bonus without an announcement. Only telling us when we asked in a call. My main concern is that stylists' goodwill is often overlooked in favor of company goals. I understand that if the company isn't making money, then our jobs could go away. But, it seems like DailyLook has forgotten that the main thing they advertise and what makes them unique is our work as stylists.
