The pay here is below average, and my recent request for a raise was denied despite being the sole employee handling my workload. Juggling 13 projects at once was incredibly stressful, and the 'years of service award' felt like a slap in the face. I needed money, not a trophy.
Expect constant clashes with the KC office over petty issues. There's a clear bias toward that location, and the internet connection here is too slow to be efficient. It's no wonder many employees seem checked out; the work is demanding, and the pay doesn't justify the effort.
Even after surgery, there's a relentless push to return to the office, even for non-minor procedures. Remote work is a viable option for many companies, but not here.
The benefits package is inadequate. Just three days of parental leave is absurd, even for a small company. And speaking of size, the company's expansion to KC suggests it's no longer so small. The vacation time is also lacking. But you know that.
