Pros

Crowdcube has a lot of genuinely great people - hardworking, supportive, and passionate about their work. There’s a good effort to bring people together through social events and team activities. Work–life balance is achievable in certain teams.

Cons

The leadership team often displays unprofessional behaviour, and decision-making feels ego-driven rather than strategic. The company’s direction changes frequently, with flip-flopping on strategy each quarter as targets are missed. Staff turnover is very high, and departing team members are often not replaced, which puts a strain on the remaining team members. Pay is far below industry standards.

Pros

Get to speak to some really cool companies The product was a really effective marketing scheme about 10 years ago, 1 or 2 success stories A handful of really genuine members of the team

Cons

C-suites egos are unfounded and this trickles down through various departments Salaries are way below market rate and bonus structure is humorous
