      Very poor management and communication

      Flexible hours. Ability to work from home.

      After receiving regular assignments for a few months, I suddenly stopped receiving any work from them. I contacted the editing manager several times to enquire, but was told that there were "no assignments in my subject area". This was about four months ago. I would understand that if they were not happy with the quality of my work, but I was specifically requested by several clients, suggesting that quality of my work was not the problem. This is extremely poor management in my opinion. If there were any concerns about my work, they should have addressed that directly.

      - You can work from home

      - Their rates are cheap compared with other companies, especially if you consider that some bank / paypal fees will then apply to your income. - You need to be patient regarding the payment process... you'll only get paid about 2 months after you've sent your edited document! And you won't necessary receive the full amount (some subjective penalties may apply as well as some discounts that they offer to their customers). - Turnaround time are about 12-15 hrs after you accepted to edit the paper. When you have a badly written of 4,000 words to edit, how to they want you to do a good job in such a short amount of time?

      - Dynamic work environment - Co-workers - Networking opportunities

      Cons

      - Management's attitude towards certain aspects is detrimental for the employees and thus the company! - You will tend to spend A LOT of time in the office (beyond your shift timings) - RATS found in the pantry are not killed but left outside the building so that they can renter!
