Sometimes hard to be a remote worker - this is my first remote job and I am still adjusting. It takes a long time to feel like part of the team.
The downside of low bureaucracy/flat-ish structure is that a lot of us (even Directors) can get mired in admin-type tasks, which puts time for strategy and big picture thinking on the back burner. And in the non-profit world, there is always more to do than you can accomplish in a day, which can sometimes feel overwhelming.
