Pros

- resources to online courses - home office set up fund, internet connection/phone perks - the brand and online platform are great - lots of multi cultural events

Cons

- there seemed to be lots of busy people, but not sure what they were busy for - poor management, no clear direction - there was lack of trust in the team, which could be very toxic - communication and processes took time, a lot of time - didn’t see opportunities of career development ... kind of sad for an online education company - departmental silos

- Unlimited vacation policy that managers are flexible with - Optional to work remotely or in-office - Managers do care about your wellbeing (even though they don't have much power to do anything to fix it)

Cons

- Service teams across the board are getting burnt out quickly - The "Do more with less" mentality has been a problem for the last few years, but with the recent layoffs, more stuff is being piled onto people's plates that were already overworked, so things are falling through the cracks (resulting in a snowball effect) - Work-life-balance is variable depending on the team. Customer-facing teams are pushed to the brink, many working overtime just to get through their growing backlog - Reluctance to hire the appropriate number of teammates to handle the workload - Enterprise product
