I worked at Cossette Communication full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Talented and smart people - Lots of support in terms of resources to do the job well. It's a short-term place to learn lots and move on.

    Cons

People don't feel valued - They focus on diversity but they fail on inclusion. If you are not extraordinary, you may feel excluded. Nobody has your back.

I worked at Cossette Communication full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - good company culture - bagels, company events, dog-friendly - young environment

    Cons

    - there are only a few good clients with meaningful work, so most of the employees are doing mundane CRM work - only a few individuals get access to the mass clients like SickKids and Mcdonalds - hard work is rarely rewarded and if it is only when someone is very close to burning out or leaving...as a way to get them to stay, otherwise promotions are slow and pay is really bad - HORRIBLE pay...most people you work with are very overworked and underpaid - high turnover...most people leave or they are laid off with no good reason - Cossette gets really good talent, but does nothing to retain - non-existant training/onboarding processes - senior-level account directors do little to support their juniors - very little transparency around the stability of your job...you're promised security until something goes wrong and you're laid off for no good reason (happened on multiple accounts)

I have been working at Cossette Communication full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fun people. Great parties. Variety of clients. Cell phone is covered and you can get discounted TELUS rates for family members. Cool building.

    Cons

Very poor pay for the amount of work/overtime expected. Bad benefits package. No RRSP matching. Old technology (hardware and software) makes work more tedious and painful than necessary. Very open concept seating - reminiscent of a call centre. Lack of boardrooms.
