Can be a good place to work ... while it lasts

Pros

Some parts are bad, some are better - but one has to realize that you work for a dying subprime giant.

Cons

They will lowball you on pay; and promotion opportunities are non existent since the whole thing is going under soon,

The company has many issues with nepotism and desire to promote individuals that are not necessarily qualified.

Most of the employees that work there are intelligent and just need the proper management to nurture that drive and discipline.

Cons

A lot of the knowledge was housed within the senior management staff and not transferred to those that needed the knowledge to do the work properly.
