Pros

The children, seeing them happy. Getting a paycheck

Cons

-60 day waiting period for insurance and sick time -No supervision, literally left alone on sight no Telehealth or in person supervision. -Inadequate supervision for SLPA license, being supervised by a CF and an SLP of only a year of experience -Lack of support -Disorganized, which leads to asking everyone for help and receiving different answers and being gaslit as a result of their incompetence -Rude Payroll -Lack of documentation, took almost 4 weeks to gain access to properly document

Pros

You’ll work with kids. That’s all I can think of.

Cons

No support. They make aloft of money off of you and do not care what happens to you. Everything is going to be your fault and you may get tough cases or no cases. Management sucks as well.

Pros

The pay is good and some supervisors are good .

Cons

If you’re new to the field not a good idea to come here . The initial training is very minimal and they can put you on some tough cases and lie and say they are not. When you start a case you know nothing about the client until the day you start so no time to prep . Sometimes there’s not even a behavior plan in place so you have to wing it . How can you provide a quality service doing that ? They rush you in without any prep and if something goes wrong the blame is put on you . There’s way too much paperwork to do on top of all of that .
