Pros

Coworkers, medical staff, location, and clients.

Cons

There is an over focus on money at the expense of clinical practice. Upper management's decisions are clinically uninformed due to their lack of independent licenses and education. As a result, you will have to relearn everything when you go to another agency. Go elsewhere.

Pros

A few of the co-workers. Please note, the word few. Most of the good employees no longer work there.

Cons

One of the directors is psychotic and will end up on ID channel one day for committing a heinous crime against someone who don’t give in to her or goes against what she wants. She treats everyone terrible, makes snide comments to staff on a regular basis, throws a temper tantrum if she doesn’t get her way, constantly volunteers for new assignments that she has no idea how to complete only to force others complete the project for her, is unable to explain an answer in any logical manner, and is just a terrible person to work with. You never know if you are walking into Jekyll or Hyde. The list of playing favorites is never ending. Staff receive promotions and job opportunities based on who they are friends with, definitely not based on their skill set and ability to perform the job requirements. Staff are not held accountable. Basic care, at best, is provided to clients and it typically is far below standards. There is absolutely no way that this company could ever pass a Medicaid audit. The amount of stupidity that occurs on a daily basis is mind boggling. The few staff who do know know what they are doing get to do everyone else’s jobs who don’t know how or just refuse. I could list a hundred different issues that are wrong with this company and only one or two items that work well. However, I won’t waste any more of my time because I know that nothing will change. I am extremely happy to not be employed for this company any longer and would not work here again if I was homeless and living under a bridge.

Pros

36 for 40. Every 3rd weekend

Cons

The DONS have no clue what is happening at their buildings. You never see them. They have run the buildings into the ground and do not care. They are here for a paycheck they should not be receiving. They have managers who have others sign out their treatments, refuse to take carts, and do not hold employees accountable. They just have to be buddies with the DONs and they get what they want and can do little to none and get away with it. You have nurses who sleep the entire shift, refuse to do treatments, or help with call lights. You have nurses who receive an admission and pass it on for others to do because they are way too lazy to do anything. You have nurses who act like they cannot do any skills. After two tries of a catheter you give up and don’t try again. We have some that take 6-7 tries which causes further harm. So many in house skin issues because of wound nurse or lack of treatment/care
