I came from traditional banking and always had stellar training. Here the training is extremely lacking. We had continual problems with the computer equipment we were being trained on and spent hours of wasted time. Everyone in my class felt the same - totally unprepared for our roles when we left the official training. Then when I arrived at my branch, being very ill prepared to function, I was put to work as though I was a seasoned verteran. My supervisor went on vacation for 9 days the day after I arrived and the branch, which was busy and short handed, so it was sink or swim. (Mostly sank). The poor computer equipment in class was no different in real life. They employ an antiquated teller program that is very illogical to use and extremely convoluted. And with no one to assist, many times the best guess is incorrect. Then when you do not perform like the veterans who are working there, you are made to feel stupid and incompetent. All this leads to poor member service and an extremely frustrating work experience. I regret making the move here and will be gone soon, highly disappointed and disillusioned. The compensation is very sub-par!
