- Like another review said, the company ALWAYS has a fire drill mentality when it comes to projects. It's hard to keep clients in check when it comes to expectations and there are extremely tight timelines. Quality of work is low due to quick project turnaround expectations and poor project management. Quantity and speed is given more importance than quality and craftsmanship. Late nights and weekend work is unavoidable. For a digital design agency - their design style is quickly becoming old fashioned and unoriginal. - Leadership doesn't care about employees, great benefits such as unlimited PTO and half-day Friday's that made the stressful work feel bearable have been taken away giving around 15 days of PTO in a year including sick days (unlimited vacation still remains for upper management). Employee healthcare plans are expensive and bad. No bonuses or other incentives. - Deceptive recruitment strategy, you are initially told when hired that performance reviews happen very frequently (every 4 months) and you are constantly rewarded for good work - doesn't happen. Performance happen every year and are constantly delayed by SEVERAL months and the review process doesn't make any sense. Promotions and raises are hard to get even after great performance and hard work. - Felt like they were doing cutting edge work and actively working on making work-life balance better for employees a few years ago but now has started to go downhill very fast.

Thank you for your feedback. I would like to try and address as much of it as I can. While we did recently update our PTO policy we have varying degrees of time off based on levels and tenure. With our old policy, we felt it wasn't equitable so this change was in an effort to be as far as possible. Regarding Summer Fridays, we still enjoy those from Memorial Day through Labor Day. We made the shift to summer only when the market took a turn so that we were positioned in the best way possible to protect as many jobs as we could. If things turn around and we have incredible business results we will of course consider these again. As it relates to our health plans we have different tiers of plans that we priced to make sure they were reasonable for our employees. We are always looking for feedback thought that we escalate to our parent company each year prior to Open Enrollment. We also are very proud that we now offer a Student Loan Assistance Program to help offset student loan debt for any of our employees who carry active student loans. Finally, I am sorry to hear that you weren't getting reviews on a regular basis. We aim to have formal reviews 2-3 times a year and commit to taking a look at employee salary levels each year. We appreciate your feedback and know we have to do better here. We wish you all the best.

Interesting Projects, big clients, remote work.

Cons

People are disposable- surprise layoffs while actively hiring for the same positions for cheaper salary. No consideration of employee's value to the project, experience, and evaluation results while making decisions on workforce reductions.

Thank you for your feedback. We have been going through a lot of change recently with the merging of two companies and doing our best to ensure we have the right people in the right roles. We have been taking each department and having a look at our staff, their skills and what we need to best serve our clients and teams and unfortunately sometimes that means we have to part with our colleagues. It's never easy but sometimes we have to make tough decisions to do the right thing for the health of the company and our clients/projects. We take a lot of time and consideration for every termination we do whether it be for performance or business reasons but we realize on the outside it's very hard to see that sometimes.
