Pros

- I'd rank ClientFirst Technology Consulting (ClientFirst Consulting Group) as the best employment I have worked for in my 30+ years as a management, technical, and administrative support professional. I've worked in various industries: startups to Fortune 500; in aerospace, manufacturing, and customer service. - I've seen the integrity of the partners demonstrated firsthand through the years--I trust these guys more than anywhere else I've worked. - National reach with network of consultants, but keeps a relatively small administrative staff size of high-caliber people, which I enjoy. - Coworkers are friendly, upbeat, team-oriented, hard-working, but not uptight. - Management encourages open communication and new ideas, but respects things learned from experience. - Utilizes people in their strengths and supports their training. - Flexible to work with my schedule adjustments, when needed. - The team/management recognizes you have a life outside of work; celebrates you as a whole person, not just an employee. - Great camaraderie, "roll up your sleeves" attitude, pitch-in to help each other get the job done where needed. - Lots of variety in experience. - Company has grown, even during the recession in 2007-09; it's picked up again, hiring to cover the workload. - Managing partner (and all partners) are smart business people. - Management cares about their clients AND employees. - Good compensation and benefits for company this size. - Not a predictable career path--open to forge your own within the needs of the company.

Cons

- Fast pace and quickly changing priorities can be stressful - Not a predictable career path

Pros

I have worked for ClientFirst Consulting Group for 4 ½ years and it has been such a great experience! It is exciting to be part of a firm that not only has doubled in sales and personnel in the past few years, but they did it without sacrificing client satisfaction along the way. I work closely with both partners due to the nature of my job, and I consider them to be individuals of high integrity and very easy to talk to. I have witnessed on several occasions their personal need to do what is right and fair, not only with their employees, but their clients too. I have three children and one of them has special needs. They have been extremely flexible and very understanding with my challenging and constantly changing schedule, which is very important to me. They always tell me “family first”, which is so refreshing to hear. I am very fortunate to work for them and I actually enjoy it too!

Cons

None. I really enjoy where I work and who I work for. I have never gone home feeling like I hate my job.

Pros

I have been with ClientFirst for nearly three years and through that time have built relationships with numerous staff and clients. Having worked with previous consulting organizations, I quickly realized one big difference with ClientFirst: an overarching goal to provide an environment that recognizes employees as our biggest contributor to success. From the little things like “Happy Birthday”, “Get well soon”, “Thank you”, and “great work”, recognitions from our partners and practice leaders, to providing different incentives in retirement and health plans, it is apparent that they consider employees for who they are and not what their title is. ClientFirst empowered me to grow in my career and highly encouraged continued education, certifications, ongoing training options, and participation in industry conferences. The opportunities are available and only limited by an employee’s initiative to take action. ClientFirst also allows staff to participate in providing actual inputs to the deliverables that a client receives, rather than limit it to one or two people. At the end of the day the greatest satisfaction comes from making a difference in our communities through helping public sector organizations get to where they desire to be.

Cons

The only challenges I have seen are those that come with providing consulting services, such as traveling to a site or conducting calls that are within clients' business hours but outside of ours.
