Worst job I had in my career

Pros

Some of the people are nice and while I was there, I got along with a handful of them. That's pretty much it for the positives.

Cons

It was a very suffocating environment. I constantly felt like I was walking on egg shells while I was there. Another reviewer already pointed out the fact that they make it seem like such an opportunistic place before starting, but once you're in, it's a different picture. While I was there, they experienced some severe internet issues where it would constantly go down, and the only people who really had a chance to work from home were the account managers. So when the internet went down, which it did frequently, you had to just wait it out and not get work done. I also felt that the management didn't care much for the employees and were really only there to collect a paycheck. The amount of gossip and bashing I heard go on about anyone and everyone was overwhelming. And if you didn't want to partake in the bash-fest, it felt like you were an outsider. The pay was not impressive at all and there weren't opportunities to grow. The best way I can describe the environment is - If you don't drink the kool-aid, don't expect job security. The CEO is also not well respected by the employees as I overhead lots of bashing of him behind his back. The relief of no longer working for a company like that is wonderful. My advice to anyone looking at applying or working here, please don't. Don't be fooled by the promise of opportunity because they really just want able bodies who are willing to do work, even if it's not great work, and to them, anyone is replaceable.

Toxic executive leadership and revolving door turnover

Pros

Flexible work from home arrangements.

Cons

The executive leadership team at this company is toxic. The CEO can be heard speaking negatively about others at the company which is uncomfortable and inappropriate. The executive team he has hired are largely people he has worked with before that have been allowed to create small toxic culture teams below them, especially the Product and Marketing organization. The head of Product can be heard yelling at others on calls, and the head of Sales is known to also yell and make inappropriate comments, yet this is all accepted because the CEO hired them. The global aspect of this company is broken and they do not function or communicate smoothly as one company at all. Disrespect and poor communication is allowed at every level and in every department. They have had constant turnover at the executive level and each new person hired tries to reinvent the wheel. It’s hard to truly grow and advance a company or solution when there is a constant revolving door at every level. There are some really great people at this company but they are overshadowed by a wave of newer leadership that has drowned out any positive aspects of this company that once existed. It’s an entirely toxic culture due to lack of leadership from the top.
