You can read all the bad reviews and decide to take it with a grain of salt, give it a chance and make your own decision. Maybe people before were entitled and didn't want to do what was asked. Who knows, right? Well the office manager seemed nice at first but you could pretty quickly start to see how badly everyone is treated.
Other people are always to blame for anything that happens and the complaints are constant. The poor delivery guys are yelled at because they come in the front door to deliver a package. You can hear yelling in the office even though the door is shut. The manager is mean and disrespectful to everyone except for the clients.
You’re told "exactly" what to do and then later that you did it wrong. It will be announced that you've done something wrong when the other staff is around to hear it, intending to make you look bad, even though your work was correct when it was checked. Or, you’ll be given things to do without any instruction and then tell you that you were wrong. You're cut off constantly so that you are never allowed to finish a sentence. You can't speak, just listen and do "exactly" what you're told. You'll also be told that the other staff have complained about you.
The biggest takeaways are that the manager wants you to do EXACTLY what you're told, meaning really to be a robot. Do not ask a question or you will be lit up. Do not try to take initiative to be helpful or you will be lit up. You will be gaslighted, disrespected and treated like a child. There just seems to be a need to treat people badly for whatever reason.
The manager can't get out of her own way or represent the company well at all in management style or professional appearance. But mostly, the childish tyrant behavior could eventually affect this successful company and everything that's been built. There is a reason that all the desks are empty and that there are only 1 star reviews except for the one 5 star that she wrote. So believe these reviews since they are consistent and know that you are so much better and smarter than to work for an abusive, unprofessional, low-class management style.
