CertainTeed is a very large company

Cons

Highly toxic place to work. No structure; no systems; no standards. There are no opportunities for growth. It is very difficult to improve anything or complete projects. Very unprofessional. Poor and uncomfortable office environment - unclean washrooms and all.

Nothing was clear-Employees and basically no one has any value for the company- Too many websites, procedures, forms and documents and none were being followed by anyone or was just pretending it was being followed-Not professional at all-Many others to say as cons-It was all basically just cons, that’s why I’m saying worst experience ever. Out of 100, their point would be less than 10-Average retention period was less than 2 years and they were the people just wanting to have income and do nothing

Pros

They train you well.... They like you to be safe above all else. You have updates from accidents that happens all over the world. There is potential for advancement... The salary is good. Many of your coworkers been there for a long time, so there's a lot of knowledge on the floor.

Cons

Being a unionized environment you may meet a slacker or two. Then you have to do a little of their jobs to cut it even. Not fun!
