Pros

Some pretty cool people work here, though many of them have left either voluntarily or involuntarily

Cons

Immature, first-time founders who have absolutely no idea what they're doing. Culture went significantly downhill over the course of a couple of years.

Pros

Incredibly supportive environment with very transparent leadership. Throughout the pandemic we have remained connected through various virtual events and meetings that keep us engaged and happy. We have amazing perks and benefits to help support us, especially now more than ever with an incredibly generous mental health stipend for Talkspace and Headspace. Since joining Catalyst it’s been a very positive experience.

Cons

A typical startup con, it doesn’t seem like anyone ever shuts off. It can put unnecessary pressure on people who need to sign on or shut off at certain times for other obligations (or simply to have a work/life balance) when majority of the company is always on.

I'm really happy to hear you feel the leadership team is transparent and see the focus we put on mental health. I personally struggle with stress so the mental well being of our team is something that is constantly on my mind. On the topic of shutting off, the shift to remote-work certainly has had a major impact on everyone being online more and I can totally see how that puts pressure on employees to always feel like they need to be on. As the CEO I strongly encourage you to feel extremely comfortable in taking time off, sign off Slack immediately after hours, and feel good that you will not be considered less. I'm extremely proud of the work that every team member has done throughout this very stressful period and would prefer to see people take more breaks. I'm personally going on a vacation soon so please do the same! (also, vacation doesn't have to be long drawn out thing if you don't want to, taking personal days here and there could be really great for unplugging)

Pros

Unbelievably smart, kind, and inspirational coworkers--I am going to know these people for the rest of my life. Product is literally changing the way that customers think about customer success

Cons

Hypergrowth means that nothing is ever on a plateau...it's always up and to the right. It's critical to be really aware of pacing oneself (which is also hard because the things we are doing/reaching)
