Regular benefits, average work life balance when not busy else high overtime expected (happens a lot). Good training in health and safety programs.

Cons

Low compensation, no personal growth from the company, overworked, no culture, no respect, high turn over of managers/employees. Currently employee morale extremely low.

Rules are followed until it doesn't suit the company. Management works out of fear of losing their jobs and trickles down to employees. Very bad air circulation and cooling system. Handling of emergency situations below par especially when dealing with cancer causing chemicals. Bully tactics and guilt trips are common. Managers and supervisors, swear, yell and fight with each other on the floor in front of employees and then will suggest how to live your life at home using carpenter values. Lol what a joke. Union is in the company's pocket and anything outside of attendance or arguments with coworkers, the unions hands are tied. Very self-serving
