Pros

If you need a break you can carry your work between the 5 buildings. The people are great. They have a snack machine but not always full. They provide 1 k-cup and 1 creamer every month. Local police work in one of the buildings. Able to take 3+ lunch hours depending on who you are. You can start a family in any warehouse with anyone. Sharing is caring. They allow small pets in the office. You will get $50/month phone reimbursement for taking pictures of constant mis-ships. You will get cake and a happy song for your special day, aka birthday, at work.

Cons

No procedures in place. Office environment is dirty. You will get a recycled desk but no chair from downtown New Brunswick. Office so always cold since one of the three owners is going through life changes. Theirs zero confidentiality from management to HR to the owners. Experience does not matter. Nothing could ever prepare you for this place. Holidays are scarce due to the industry. If you take additional days off you earn additional duties upon return. You get paid bi-monthly. If you are even eligible for a bonus “after 6+ years” it will be split in two checks. No parking. 1 restroom for every 100 employees. OSHA should stop by take a look. Upper management will allow the client to verbally abuse you while you must maintain composure. Team building ends up being a team breaker. Growth will be proposed to you but it is nothing but an open unfulfilled promise. If you go to the holiday party (in one of the random warehouses) make sure to bring a heater and prepare to get roasted as a minority. Owner will drink a whole bottle of liquor before making a 2 hours speech about current events that he is not up-to-date on.

We thank our employees for taking the time to review us, any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. We will be sharing with our current employees some information from our recent 2018 NJ’s Best Places to Work application survey results which paints a very positive portrait of Capacity LLC. Though we didn’t make the 2018 list of NJ’s Best Places to Work there is always 2019! We are located in North Brunswick, NJ and City of Industry, CA and operate from 6 warehouse facilities, some of which are located on the same cul-de-sac. We love the fact that we are centrally located in a thriving labor market with easy access to New York City and our ability to offer cost effective and expedited shipping options for our Clients to the North-East Region of the U.S. Sometimes our Employees, Managers and Owners all will shuffle between buildings and we value them for doing so! Our benefits offered to our employees is growing! We don’t have fancy offices, but our coffee is free! Because we work in a warehouse with offices spread throughout, if you were looking for a fancy skyline view or to wear formal professional attire, this might not be the best place for you. What we do know is that all employees who ‘accept’ their offer letters know exactly the type of environment we operate from. We truly relish our casual and flexible culture! And if you want an ergonomic work station then we support that as well! Truth, we have only 6 paid off days, with one floating holiday, and our 4th quarter is our busiest! We are a warehouse and thrive on our ability to service our clients during THEIR busiest times, getting THEIR products to Retailers and E-commerce consumers for the holidays! We are extremely competitive with our benefits offering including employee vacation and look to improve constantly. In summary, we place tremendous value on our employees, and our clients alike, and we require our team to be talented and accountable for their job duties and to their team. We like to have fun! We maintain an open-door policy such that if employees would openly discuss these issues with his / her manager, we would have gladly re-ordered some K-cups! We like giving our employees bonuses, cell phone reimbursements and/or celebrate their special days! Doesn’t everyone?

Pros

2 out of the 3 partners don't say or ever speak to you since the campus is large. They gave everyone an oppurtunity to review of the company for 2018 Best Places to Work in New Jersey. I doubt they will ever allow that again once they get the results. They offer direct deposit. The company gathers all the large clients during the holiday season to meet each other and air out issues. The partners drink on the job and make you laugh at them. Everyone is nice to your face. They allow nepotism. Sales group is amazing at getting new start up to come on board.

Cons

Fact - All the good reviews you see are written by senior managers because of the partners getting upset. Just look at them yourself and think "Who speaks like that?". No training AT ALL or any communication between departments. Emails and concerns are ignored by not only your director but other directors as well. You will hear from the directors that they have too many emails to read. The position Client Account Manager or CAM is really a glorified data entry clerk. Not what I expected at all. You never know what atmosphere (good or bad) you will walk into in the morning. Even if you try to make a suggestion it will not be acknowledged unless one of the management group steals your idea and passes it as their own. The operations group is really lacking in resources leading to issues with majority of clients. For example no one in the group knows how to send Hazmat orders. The finance group is not going to help you at all. The bottom performers are never let go but the people that speak up get silenced by management threatening. In spring, summer, fall and winter the AC is on full blast. One of the partners has hot flashes All the VP's will sell you on how much the company is growing but fail to address the issue of clients constantly leaving.

Though we didn’t make the 2018 list of NJ’s Best Places to Work there is always 2019! Capacity continues to grow and we are actively recruiting at Capacity for various positions across all departments. We are excited to welcome some new members to the Capacity team in 2018. And typical with fast paced growth, both in terms of revenue and employees, we are actively looking to expand our training for employees. We encourage our employees to seek training, seminars or conferences that interests them, including educational assistance where possible! In summary, we place tremendous value on our employees, and our clients alike, and we require our team to be talented and accountable for their job duties and to their team. We work hard, smart and like to have fun! We maintain an open-door policy so that our employees can openly discuss these issues with his / her manager and we count on our employees to let us know how we can do things better!

Pros

You get to interact directly with clients and know them on a personal level. You will end up becoming a jack of all trades (expert in none). Also you will learn how not lie but rather omit key facts while keeping a straight face.

Cons

You will get told that the new WMS system is the gold standard but you later find out that it is fools-gold. The company has 2-3 experts in the entire company and they say how they will train you but everyone is still waiting. Client turn around is extremely high and most end up leaving to completion so you end up and continuous start up mode. It is understood that a 3PL changes quickly but priorities change hour by hour making it impossible to plan. Staff is over worked to the point that they just do not even care anymore. If you come to an interview just ask the manager if you can speak to some currently employees to get feedback. There faces will say it all.
