      Pros

Exciting, advanced and progressive. Opportunity to grow and develop skills.

      Cons

It was difficult to understand who was in charge. Project management could be improved. It was frustrating how little could get accomplished.

      IT dept needs an overhaul

May 27, 2021 - Senior Systems Analyst in Chalk River, ON
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Good place to live and work. Coworkers are good people to work with. Housing is cheap (comparitively). If you love outdoor activities, this is the place for you. Company benefits ok. Lots of opportunities to help in IT improvement.

      Cons

IT dept has not been respected for quite some time and it shows. Contractors come in and get all the desirable work. Regulars get very little training and perform mostly support work. It's a good candidate for total outsourcing. Hope to move all systems to the cloud.
