I have been working at Canada Computers part-time

    Pros

Skill barrier to become technician is not incredibly high. I mesh well with the coworkers and managers I have. May not be the cause for everyone. Being passionate about the tech I work with allows me to enjoy the finer details of working with new and old computer hardware.

    Cons

It's retail work - not for everyone. Talking with people on the phone, handling sales calls, and pitching extended warranties, etc.
