Pros

Experience and the money if you don't consider the amount of hours that you're working.

Cons

They lie to you about what you do. This isn't a marking firm. It is door to door sales. Each quarter it can be something diffent. I started in April 2017 and May was my last month. I got tried of it. Its cold door to door sales. I hope this review stays up because they take them down or write fake ones. If you got an interview from them hear me out. You make a little over $100 for each phone line you open. My first month I made 3K after taxes after taking out gas and calculating the 60 hours a week I was putting in, I was making around $15 an hour. That's a joke.

Hey, Reviewer! We appreciate the time you took to share your experience, and of course the one month you were employed with our firm. It saddens us that you did not leave with better feedback, and we welcome you to contact our Human Resources Department if you feel there are any unanswered questions still lingering. To address a few of your comments, Campaign Development Corporation is a direct marketing and sales firm that operates on behalf of TMobile. Direct marketing defined is the business of selling products or services through targeted campaigns, and our client has been and will remain as TMobile - it does not change. We apologize if it was not transparent throughout the interview process that direct marketing means sales, but one would think that the full-day job shadowing prior to accepting employment would have provided full clarity. Lastly, pay is mentioned as a pro, and then as a con. We see it as a benefit to be able to dictate our income, but understand if the position was not a long-term fit for you. All in all, we wish you the best of luck and hope you have found something better suited. PS - Glassdoor doesn't allow employers to remove reviews or write fake ones. Don't you think we would have more than just your review if it was possible? ;) Sincerely, Campaign Development Corporation Management Team

Pros

Improved people skills speaking to complete strangers

Cons

THIS IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS. I should have known better based on how easily I was given the job. They will try to convince you that this is the opportunity of a lifetime, that as long as you work hard, you will go far. This is all so they can milk you for all the energy you have. You are only as good to them as the money you make. They also cut your paycheck every chance they get! Working 60 hours a week, going door to door, making money for those who really don't do much work... This is essentially a pyramid scheme. They are throwing a bunch of flies at the wall just to see what sticks. Overall, this has been a bad experience and I hope this review prevents you from making the same terrible mistake. Wasted time, wasted effort, must have seen 30 faces come and go within 3 weeks. Nobody wants to work here. I was insulted by those who were supposed to set the proper example on numerous occasions, making it a very uncomfortable work environment for me.

Hey, Reviewer - We're saddened to see this review, as we look for everyone to leave our organization with a better impression than this. There are sadly a lot of discrepancies in your review that trouble us and make it difficult to believe that this review is written from firsthand experience. Firstly, we work with small business in/around Tampa, not residentially. There's not a single person who works 60 hour weeks unless they're somehow in the office before and after our manager unlocks and locks the door. Lastly, we haven't hired 30 people in the month of October, let alone the last quarter. Pyramid schemes are illegal and would have no association with our client, TMobile. Should you have any questions or look to speak directly with a manager about any unresolved issues, we welcome you to call our office at (813) 289-6140 and ask to speak with Mike! Sincerely, Campaign Development Corp Management Team

Pros

Right off the bat, I want to let everyone know that this job is 100% commission and I hope that this review stays on here so people will know what to expect. I found out really quickly that this wasn’t for me. Mike was the one to interview me and said that after looking at my resume, he would bypass the whole screening process because he liked me and would directly proceed with training. Aside from the negatives, which I hope you READ FIRST so you know what to expect from this job, I cannot say there were no positives that came about this job. The atmosphere and environment is high-energy and positive. Everyone was highly positive and collaborative. If you needed help or words of encouragement, coworkers were there for you. The morning meetings, usually held by Mike or another Lead Account Executive, were motivating and inspirational. Everyone encourages you to become better and that you can achieve your goals with a great mindset. There was team bonding activities that were fun to be at and participate in as well. Words of affirmations do help you when you start to doubt your capabilities. The positives that I took away from this job include improvement of communication skills and people skills. I learned how to better listen and tailor fit solutions for the customer. The opportunity for advancement is there and the possibility of becoming the Director of your own office can help drive you to do better. This job was not for me, but that does not mean it won’t work for you. If you are willing to put in A LOT of hours love to meet/talk to new people every day, and willing to put up with the negatives I addressed in this review, then this job could be for you. All I can say is that it takes a particular type of person to become successful at this job. I hope this 1000% truthful review stays up.

Cons

At first, Mike was really positive and encouraging, then after two weeks of not hitting goals, it was apparent that Mike already lost faith and made that 100% clear. I was told by a Lead Account Executive that during a meeting (where they decide if people are paired off for the day or going alone), that Mike questioned him when he said he would partner with me in my territory because I would ruin his ‘closing streak’ and that “I made zero deals in my first two weeks”. When I first researched this job, there were only mostly positive reviews so I thought it was going to be fine. After working this job, I found those reviews to be false and those one or two negative reviews were accurate. One review stated that you start the day at 7AM and ended at7PM (M-F) if you were lucky enough, and Campaign Development responded saying that this was false and that the office closes at 5PM. After actually working the job, it was frowned upon, especially by Mike, to leave your territory by 7PM if you didn’t close at all or closed on enough sales. This is not to include the fact that it was mandatory to return to the office regardless to report your numbers for the day. I had a territory nearby my home (less than 10 minutes away) but I HAD to go back to the office which was a 40-minute drive from my territory and another 30 minute drive back home. During my ‘training week’, I saw that this took a toll on my trainers (Lead Account Executives). When you get promoted to “Lead Account Executive”, if you didn’t close on a certain number of sales, you were expected to work on Saturday to hit goals. The job basically consists of you driving your own vehicle around to businesses in a certain ‘territory’ you are assigned, trying to get people to switch providers. You rack up miles on your car, had to pay for your own gas and tolls, and there was no reimbursement/compensation for any of that. No benefits whatsoever. It’s a cold door to door sales job so be prepared to deal with rude people and sometimes shut down harshly before getting a word out if you still decide to go forward and work for this company.

Reviewer, We appreciate the time you spent not only in our company but in sharing your feedback. We value what you have to say and appreciate the pros listed. We're so glad to know you walked away feeling as if your communication and listening skills had already improved. We apologize for any miscommunication regarding hours and will make sure that response is edited to reflect our standards hours but that they are subject to change based one client deadlines and expectations. We are confident in the fact that our team has the opportunity to dictate their income through commission based pay structure. We find it very helpful to provide an average range that each individual makes as they progress in our company. Our client has extremely big goals for us, therefore, we look for team members that are entrepreneurial minded and understand that long hours are sometimes necessary to hit goals. Regardless, we understand no one likes surprises and will do a better job covering expectations with hours and sales in our interview process. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors! Sincerely, Campaign Development Corp Management Team
