Pros

Great general orientation “CASA 101”to learn about the organization.

Cons

Poorly defined job role descriptions and expectations. Different direction from different levels of management. Lack of support from management and leadership. Infighting between leaders affecting frontline staff. High rate of turnover - approximately one staff terminated each month, 55 employee resignations in 12 months. Prioritizing “butts in seats” or appropriate screening criteria. Overt intimidation and threats to employment from management towards frontline staff in an effort to gain compliance with unethical operations. Programs launching with incomplete staffing (no CanReach doctor) negatively impacting program implementation.
