Pros

Despite my low rating, it was actually a great place to work. The supervisors are all about numbers, which is to be expected, but they're really good guys. The facility is kept tidy, the break room is nice, and the work is not difficult.

Cons

According to some of the guys that had been there awhile, the factory hasn't hired temps onto full-time positions since a couple years ago. If you temp there, I recommend looking around for something better because despite what they tell you, and however hard you work, you will more than likely not advance to a higher paying full-time position with benefits. I'm not 100% sure as to why I was let go but I did hear from a few ex-co-workers that there was a mass layoff.

Pros

Great corporation. Good benefits. Standards oriented

Cons

Work-life balance non-existent. Terrible high management / leadership crisis that leads to very high turnover rate. Communication process with high management is also non-existent. Even though the corporation is very good, the problem lies in senior management of Brose Canada

Pros

Employees are mostly good people who are just trying to survive the culture to take care of their families. Compensation is generally good but that is because the turnover is so high they're trying to make it difficult for people to leave.

Cons

Constant fear of being fired leads to finger-pointing and conforming to the twisted ways of management to save yourself. Salaried staff are expected to work long hours without overtime compensation. Hourly staff are sent home during the week because of inept management and then forced to work weekends to make up for lost production.
