Pros

BrightWork ticks all the boxes for an ideal workplace for me. The work you do has an impact. Regardless of seniority, everyone in the Cooperative has a role they own and lead, contributing directly to the success of our business. Experimentation and innovation are highly encouraged, fostering a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. Transparency is very important here, ensuring that everyone is informed and involved in business planning and decision-making processes. The benefits are good too - generous holidays, health and dental insurance, pension plan, and an annual bonus. We also have hybrid working options which provide flexibility and a good work/life balance. BrightWork is a cooperative with a triple purpose: to look after our customers, ourselves, and our wider community, and we certainly live by that. I am proud to work at BrightWork and it's a place I enjoy going to work every day.

Cons

Not many, there is a reason I've stayed here so long. BrightWork is still in the early as a cooperative. This can sometimes lead to slower in decision-making as we navigate our growth and establish our processes.
