      Pros

      The people are amazing -- who you work with is a big part of what makes work enjoyable. Botpress focuses a lot on culture, so even if the people come and go, you're sure to always be surrounded by some amazing colleagues who are supportive and inspiring. If you're ambitious and looking to grow, this is also a great place because you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of a lot of different projects. You'll be encouraged to grow and take on more responsibilities earlier than in bigger organizations. Leadership is also maturing a lot as the company grows, there are very clear signs of them stepping up recently and working on creating the structure needed for the team to strive as it moves to a more mature stage.

      Cons

      If you need a lot of hand-holding than this might not be the right place for you. The company is still growing, if you want a place you can join and just follow instructions that were built for you this isn't it.

      Great people and office, but poor management direction

      Pros

      - The people are great. - The office is beautiful, in a great location. - The backend architecture is a piece of beauty.

      Cons

      - Hired aggressively for 5 months only to layoff 40 people overnight with no warning. - Management is huge. The company has a vast amount of VPs/Heads for a small company. - There is hardly a global direction to push towards, as much as "displace marketshare" is great. There was horrible vision into company direction which made leading difficult. - The red tape is also a big problem
