Pros

The company culture at Bloomfire is incredible. They stand by and live by their core values. Successes and failures are a team effort and everyone is in this together. Communication between business units is what contributes to the success of the organization. Knowing what is coming up with a product, how marketing is working on messaging and where customers are supported with customer success is where Bloomfire shines. The R&D and product team is producing a solution that is stable and is currently being updated with innovative enhancements. The support from the Executive Team to ensure that their employees are keeping up with work/life balance especially during the pandemic is unlike anything I have ever witnessed. This in itself makes you want to commit yourself more to an organization that you know supports you.

Pros

Having joined Bloomfire during extraordinary times, the company has risen to the challenge to support their people with a mission-driven yet fun and flexible culture. Leadership promotes transparency across the business, and has demonstrated prioritizing the health, safety and general well-being of individuals company-wide. Strong ethics with a focus on putting employees' development, success and contentment at the heart of what they do. Fantastic work-life balance which is hard to find, with perks like 4.5-day working week, remote working and unlimited holiday!

Cons

Easy to say, but quite honestly no cons in my opinion; Bloomfire has set the 'great companies to work for' standard in my experience.

Pros

In the beginning of my tenure, the company culture was A+: employee positive, transparent, and valued a work/life balance. The tech stack was interesting, react and ruby on rails. Some folks are trying to maintain that positive work culture.

Cons

After VC purchased the org almost 2 years ago things started to slowly shift towards its current state of stress, lack of leadership transparency, layoffs and overall poor work life experience. Cancelled health insurance benefits mid-month after submitting my notice and completing the standard 2 week notice but gave no warning insurance would not last until the end of the month.
