Pros
1.) STRONG PROVEN LEADERSHIP TEAM - The 3 Partners of Benchmark have all been multiple President Club Winners at other Recruitment Firms, same with the Account Management team. This gives a strong vote of confidence that they’re industry veterans and amazing at what they do. 2.) OPEN DOOR POLICY & MENTORSHIP - Despite being busy, they’re always accessible whenever you need any help or want any advice. The mentorship available here is unrivalled as you’re truly learning from the best of the best. 3.) UNCAPPED EARNING POTENTIAL - The commission structure here is pretty good. It’s a tiered system so the more revenue you generate, the more YOU earn as it is uncapped. The 100K+ is definitely achievable. 4.) NO ADMIN WORK - Benchmark has an amazing Recruitment Coordinator who edits and formats resumes/application. She also conducts reference and background checks. Not only does this save time, but it is a KEY indicator proving they want their employees to focus on revenue-generating activities.
Cons
Let me preface this by saying that I’m very satisfied with my work situation here. There isn’t a lot of things that I’m unhappy with here. However, if I were to nitpick, it would be the bonus payments. We get paid our quarterly bonuses every 15th on the following month. With our payroll partner and consultants timesheets, we’ve been getting paid late 2-5 business days on our bonuses. It’s not the end of the world, but it is not bothersome when we get told we’ll be paid on a specific date and we don’t. I don’t have access to our back office so I don’t fully know what’s going on, but there should be some way to reduce the turnaround time such as sending in the payment amounts a week before it’s due to our payroll partners or switching providers.
