A disgrace to say this company utilizes behavior analysis to help families.
Pros
Behavior Analysis, Inc. is a well-known company in Florida and has been around since 1994. The company offers several programs to work within; therefore, there is the potential to grow and change job positions.
Cons
There is little communication between the CEO and Vice CEO with the sister company, Behavior Analysis & Therapy in Fort Myers. The pay is not good for how many hours a behavior analyst puts in weekly. You get paid for 40 hours of work, but you work way more than that. The reimbursement provided for cell phone and gas is not enough considering how much today's cell phone plans are and how much gas prices have risen. If you have been formally trained and certified in behavior analysis, this company uses the most watered down version of it that it is barely recognizable. There is no data collection or graphing to determine progress in a client's behavior. If you can memorize a script and know how to use find and replace on Microsoft Word to replace "client" with the client's name... then wah-la! You have yourself a behavior plan that is "individualized." This company is a sad representation of what behavior analysis can do for families.
