Pros

Great place to gain experience. If you earn management's trust, there's not a whole lot of micromanagement and you're free to accomplish goals in the way you see fit. There's also ample break time during the day to clear your head, so I rarely felt over-stressed when I worked at AM. By and large, employees have a pretty strong rapport with one another. I made some great friends here that I still keep in touch with.

Cons

It's a bit of a boys' club, and in some positions you really have to fight for decent compensation. But if you make your case and are willing to go the extra mile to defend it, management is not unreasonable.

Pros

Medical, Dental and Vision insurance.

Cons

The pay is extremely low especially if we are basing off how much work one is given.. AutoManager lied on their job posting that the start pay is $17. After signing my final paperwork I noticed that I would be getting paid $15 an hour. I asked about this and was told that the ad was incorrect but due to hardship I accepted the $15/hr. The amount of work I was given was more than my previous contract job that paid more. The CEO is clueless 9/10 of the times until he notices that profit are low. The sales rep sell the product but don't have an ounce clue of what the software actually does. How do you sell something you don't know? Many people including myself was told we got a .25 cent pay raise for doing a good job but that is all a facade. Due to state regulations they have to do this or they would be paying people under the minimum wage. After 2 years. One of the programmers quit and I took their place but still got paid minimum wage even picking up someone else responsibility on top of my tech support position. After 4 years being with this company I resigned due to getting a better offer by Amazon as a Cyber Analyst. Stay away from this company unless your desperate. -

Pros

They expect half the work of a normal company, lots of screwing around and low expectations

Cons

Pay, benefits, and PTO are WAY below average for every position. Lied about salary and benefits up until 3 weeks AFTER I started and got my 2nd paycheck, CEO owes me thousands from the written offer. Management has no automotive or business or software experience and has no desire to learn any. Zero communication from anyone - they just argue and fight constantly, screaming and yelling without accomplishing anything ever. Upper management micromanages to an extreme all the way down to the bottom yet doesn't have a clue what's going on and listens to no one. They take all their feedback from 1-2 of their biggest paying customers and don't follow the industry or care about growing at all. Their software has WRONG calculations with no desire to fix them, setting up their customers for lawsuits, and spends more money making sure it can't blow back on them than it'd take to fix their mistakes. This company will be dead in 2 years, stay away!
