Pros

The clients were awesome to work with. The BCBAs were helpful with training supervisees. Great pay and benefits.

Cons

New RBTs are not trained well. It is not made clear to ask questions or for clarification on how to run programs. Employees have a tendency to be immature, make up things and get other employees in trouble or fired. Favoritism is apparent in all levels.

Pros

The children and families can be a joy to work with as well staff who are not in management roles.

Cons

The Newly appointed CEO is very pushy and expects everything to be done his way, whether it is ethical or not. There will be a lot of false promises to pull you into the company. If you are not an RBT you will be expected to become one, and to fill in for when there are staffing issues. This will occur so much that you will think it has become your full time job. There is little to no proper training for any of the roles you will be expected to play. While the company rushes to open more clinics they leave behind other clinics that are poorly prepared to meet clients needs. The needs of currently opened clinics and their staff are severely neglected. Upper management pushes for what will make them a profit and not for what is best for the clients and their families. You will witness ethically questionable policies and practices. You will be surrounded by staff who feel defeated and completely demoralized by the lack of support from the company. The experience I had at Autism Support Now was extremely toxic and demoralizing.

Pros

RBTs here are so sweet and kind, amazing coworkers and clients to work with

Cons

Management is unprofessional, disorganized, and doesn't know how to manage. If you don't plan on sacrificing your life for the company, don't work here. Management stood on a chair in the middle of the room full of staff and clients and accused staff of committing insurance fraud, and then threatened to time interactions and withhold pay if interactions with clients were not frequent enough. It was also 80 degrees that day because the air conditioner was broken. Most hostile work environment I have ever experienced.
